Dr. Slingbaum and his family feel right at home in Florida where he was raised and graduated from high school in Cooper City. Dr. Slingbaum attended Florida State University where he received his B.S. degree in Psychology with minors in Chemistry and Biology.
Dr. Slingbaum received his D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He returned to his roots in Florida to continue his education at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine Post-Graduate Program in Endodontics. He has been in private practice in South Florida and Key West ever since.
Dr. Slingbaum is highly involved in Dental Education. He is currently an Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. He is involved with didactic and clinical education at the graduate and postgraduate level. Dr. Slingbaum is the Assistant Dean for Dental Education and Digital Solutions for the college. He is currently on staff at Memorial Hospital and has given many lectures locally, nationally, and internationally.
Dr. Slingbaum is affiliated with the following professional dental organizations: American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, South Florida District Dental Association, American Association of Endodontics, Florida Endodontic Association, South Broward Dental Society (Past President, twice), and the Memorial Dental Study Club.
